Ladder Rules
1. The ladder is now divided into two sections, the top 18 and an unranked pool below that.
2. If you are in the top 18, you may only challenge 5 spots ahead of you. If you win, you take the spot of the person you beat, who then moves down one spot.
3. If you are in the Unranked Pool, you can only challenge up to the #14 spot, still 5 spots up like normal, and take that person's place. Everyone below you then moves down one, and the former #18 goes into the unranked pool.
4. The location and time of challenge matches are up to the discretion of the higher ranked player. The higher ranked player should agree to play in at most two weeks if not sooner.
5. If you see any evidence of "dodging," someone trying to avoid a challenge match, report it to an officer and appropriate measures will be taken.
6. All "dodgers" will have an asterix next to their name on the ladder on the website for all to see.
7. The winner of the match must report the score as soon as possible on the website on the Report a Challenge Match Result Page.
8. Challenge Matches must be at least a regular set, but otherwise the format is up to the discretion of the higher ranked player.
9. If someone challenges you during the limbo period between when a first person challenges you and you actually play the challenge match, you can play a second match, but if the first person who challenged you wins, he takes your spot, whether you moved down or not.
10. All players whose names are greyed out have withdrawn for the semester or are injured, and they don't count as a player ahead of you on the ladder, so if you are within 5 spots of a guy who withdrew/ is injured you can challenge six spots up if you want, but you can't challenge someone who withdrew/ is injured.
11. If you are not in the top 18, what number you play in matches will be arbitrarily chosen by the officers.
